Willmoore Kendall, William Buckley, and Brent Bozell adored McCarthy, though they provided his ideology, and built the Conservative Movement upon that ideology, while calling it "Conservatism," to disguise its similarity to fascism which they also adored.
I could share excerpts of their books celebrating McCarthyism but that might offend people here.
